FSA Youth Loans!

Our May 21 workshop on FSA Youth Loans was very successful!  FSA Youth loans provide up to $5,000 to help youth between the ages of 10 and 20 finance small ag-related and income producing projects.  If you missed the workshop, but would be interested in one of the follow-up workshops, please email rifarm@rifb.org or call the office at 401-385-3339 to get on the list.    Check out our page for more information on Youth Loans.

New England Ag Exchange

Farmers- Do you have something to sell or trade? Are you looking for for a particular implement or service? Do you need summer or full-time help or are you looking for a summer or full-time ag related job job? The New England Ag Exchange Website is barely up and running, and there are postings for all of these items already!

A collaborative effort between Farm Fresh RI, the Young Farmer Network, RI DEM Division of Ag and the RI Farm Bureau has been underway to create a NEW regional farmer online marketplace. The N.E. Ag Exchange provides an online forum to buy/sell/trade, share advice, seek/offer land or labor, and more.

We hope that this forum will enhance the free-flow of knowledge and goods to further the efforts of RI agriculture. We all have so much to offer!
