Harvesting RI Season Three!

Starting in July, four more RI Farm Bureau member farms will be featured in two new episodes of Harvesting RI. In Episode 1, Executive Producer Alex Caserta takes us to Wright’s Dairy Farm in North Smithfield and EMMA Acres in Exeter to explore two different methods farmers are utilizing to market their milk in Rhode Island.

Episode 2 brings us to Blackbird Farm in Smithfield where the Bouthillette family raises Purebred Angus and Berskshire hogs, and then drops us down to North Kingstown where the Greniers operate Narrow Lane Orchards.

Episodes 1 and 2 will be run back to back at the following times. Set your DVR or mark it on the calendar. Harvesting RI is a wonderful way to catch some beautiful stories about farming in RI today.

Harvesting RI Season 3 is on a brief hiatus.  Look for it to run again after Season 2 finishes its run.
